Access Statement for Dragon Cottage

Dragon Cottage has level access from the road into the cottage. The lounge, kitchen and downstairs bedroom is on the level. The downstairs bathroom and outside back area is accessed via one step down and one step up again in the case of the bathroom. Once outside, the patio area has two steps up to it, also two steps up into garden area. Guests can rearrange furniture if they so wish to suit their needs as long as they are replaced before leaving. The flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms are tiled. The Hall has a block wooden floor. All other areas are carpeted.

There are car parking spaces outside the cottage which is on a first come first served basis. There are two car parks within easy walking distance from the cottage, approximately two to three minutes. The road outside the cottage is relatively quiet and it is possible to on/off load easily. The town is approximately two minutes walk. There is a grocery shop very conveniently placed, just a few yards from the cottage at the top of the road. The main train station is 2-3 minutes away by car. Bus stops are approximately two minutes walk from the house. (All walking distances mentioned are level walks with slight gradients in parts.)

The pillows are all non feather pillows and duvets have poly cotton covers.

There is good lighting in all areas in the cottage with good colour contrast between walls and floors.
